Coloma Lions Install New Officers

On Monday, July 18, the Coloma Lions installed the officers for 2022-23.  The Coloma Lions have been active in the community for 50 years.  In fact, they will proudly celebrate their 50-year anniversary at the Community Appreciation Picnic on Monday, August 15.

The Coloma Lions support local organizations, especially local school projects and national Lions activities such as eye and vision and diabetes support.  They also provide scholarships for local students.  The Coloma Lions drive eye tissue runs twice per year, volunteer at various locations in Coloma such as the food give-away and are the go-to people when volunteers are needed.

New members who want to make a difference in the community are always welcome.  For membership information, contact any Lion member or come to a meeting.  Meetings are generally the 1st Monday of each month at the Coloma Community Center at 5:30 pm.
