Harrisville gets ready for annual 60th Bratfest

Brat Fest is spread from the Fire Station to the park, tractor pull track, and the Sportsman’s Club. The Fire Station is where you’ll find their famous brat dinners, served from 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. During that time, enjoy live music by “Southbound” from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m., or stick around for A-Round Town, playing from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

At the park, there will be carnival rides, softball games all day, along with a volleyball tournament and corn hole tournament. For more information on softball, please contact Tim Greiner at 608-697-7738; for volleyball, call John Kutzler at 608-296-3804. You can also enjoy entertainment by the Prairie Cloggers from 1:00-2:00 p.m., DJ music from 2-6pm, and the band “Vitamin R” from 6-10pm.

Kids can enjoy a Pedal Pull just for them at the park. Registration is at 10:30 a.m., followed by the pull at 11:00 a.m.

Pulling competition goes on at the track all day and the entrance fee is just $15 per adult for the whole day; kids 12 & under are free. Then, the day finishes up with Farm/Open/Truck Pulls starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Sportsman’s Club Community Center is the scene for more brat goodness throughout the day, as well as Country Western music by Star Fire Band from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
