The Montello Area Chamber of Commerce has announced a big line-up of activities for the Summer of 2023 – including the return of Father Marquette Day!
First, they will host another Wine Walk on Saturday, April 1st, running from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. See the Chamber’s Facebook page for ticket information.
May 5, 6 and 7 brings the giant Fish-N-Fun Festival, with fun for the whole family! The carnival returns to City Park, along with food vendors, a petting zoo, a chicken barbecue, bingo, and other fun activities. Downtown will again be the site of lots of entertainment, including Clyde Masten with his Tribute to Elvis, plus the popular bands Best Practice and Road Trip. There’s much more, including kids’ games, a vendor fair, kids’ fishing contest and much more! Watch the Tribune for more details.
On June 25th, join the Chamber for their annual Golf Outing at White Lake Golf Club. Shotgun start is at 11:00 a.m. and a buffet meal follows golf. Contact the golf course for registration information.
The Culpepper and Meriweather Circus returns to Montello on Wednesday, August 16th, on the grounds of Montello Public Schools. Performances are scheduled for 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. Watch for ticket details at a later date.
Father Marquette Day returns on Saturday, August 19th. Plans are still in the works for this all-day event, which includes a parade, food, entertainment and more, headquartered at Montello City Park.
