Montello Middle School students have been hard at work preparing for the Young@part musical "We Will Rock You," a futuristic story written by Ben Elton featuring the music of the iconic rock band Queen.  Performances will run May 19-21 at 7p.m.

THE WEEK HAS ARRIVED! Family Adventure Day will distribute free activity kits at a drive- through event to 100 Marquette County households. The activity kits are geared towards families with children kindergarten through fifth grade and are first come, first served with a limit of one kit per car/household.

The Montello Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone to attend the Fish-N-Fun Festival on May 6-7-8. The fun begins on Friday, May 6th and runs through Sunday, May 8th. Food trucks, refreshments and live music will take over West Street downtown, while the carnival and other attractions will be located at City Park.

Montello High School will be hosting their annual Junior Prom on Saturday, May 7. The theme is “Enchanted Forest.” Class March will be at 8:30 and Grand March will be at 9pm in the Montello High School Community Room. The cost for students will be $10 per couple or $15 per individual.

The Westfield Junior Class will host its 2022 Prom on Saturday, April 30th, from 8:00-11:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park in Westfield. This year’s theme is “Enchanted Forest.” The grand March is set to take place at 8:30 p.m. Members selected for the Court are:

Germania will be the hub of all things fun this Saturday, as the community will host their 28th Annual Parade & Benefit event.

Activities run from 9 a.m. to midnight, starting with a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. Registration information is available at the Longbranch Saloon.

ARLINGTON, VA – Four drivers, who collectively have driven for more than 165 years while racking up nearly 15 million miles of service without a chargeable accident or a moving violation, have been inducted into the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Driver Hall of Fame sponsored by Navistar’s NEXT Solutions.

In anticipation of Spring, members of the Montello Lions Club and a few extra helpers spent a very cold Saturday morning cleaning up around the waterfalls in downtown Montello on April 16th.
