A number of community Easter egg hunts are planned throughout Marquette County in April, offering opportunities for children and families to take part in seasonal traditions. The American Legion Post 351 on Hwy. 23 will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m. That same day, the Westfield Lions Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt beginning at 11 a.m. in Pioneer Park. The event will feature three age groups for children up to age 10, along with candy-filled eggs and prize drawings, including three bicycles. In the event of inclement weather, a drivethrough candy distribution will be held at the park. Additional hunts are scheduled in several communities:
•Endeavor: Saturday, April 12 at 9 a.m. at the library
•Montello: Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. at the American Legion
•Coloma: Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. at the park
•Westfield: Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Park
•Briggsville: Sunday, April 20 following 9 a.m. worship at the United Methodist Church
•Packwaukee: Saturday, April 26, with registration at 10 a.m. at Town Park
