Westfield American Legion presents check to Girl Scouts

Westfield’s American Legion Post 244 presented a check to the Westfield Girl Scout Troop 6283. Presenting the check was Commander Joe Stieber to Girl Scout Leader Samantha Bailey. Also present was Financial Officer of Post 244, Perry Drew. The funds were raised in part from the Cans for Scouting collection site at the Post Hall. The American Legion Post also taught the girls flag etiquette and how to properly fold the American flag, along with a history of the Village of Westfield. (Photo submitted)
