Tradition of good breakfasts and lunches continues with new owner at Sparks Grill

After starting and operating Sparks Grill in Montello for 23 years, Evelyn Papa has retired and turned over the reins to new owner Jacob Suter. Her advice of “don’t change anything!” is something Suter is taking to heart, as he continues Ev’s fine tradition of good food and service at the restaurant.

High Marq teacher receives Educator of the Year award

High Marq Environmental Charter School is proud to share that Co-Lead Teacher Skylar Primm has been named Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education's Formal Environmental Educator of the Year. Skylar has been teaching at High Marq for 11 years, and in 2017 was honored with a Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellowship.

Gravel pit special exception goes back to Packwaukee Planning Committee

Over 60 citizens attended the Town of Packwaukee Special Meeting held on Monday, November 8 at the town hall.  The meeting was a discussion and vote on the special exception permit and re-zone application for a proposed sand and gravel pit and potential asphalt plant off County Road D in the Township of Packwaukee.
